Ah, the good old days.
With the rise of online streaming and DVD rental at lower prices, Netflix has made tons of money through their online streaming of films and their timely delivery of DVDs for a Friday movie night.
However, you may be receiving your rented DVDs at a much slower pace because Netflix is no longer processing DVD shipments on Saturdays. While this normally would not warrant much discussion since it's only one day of the week, but the results could potentially upset some of Netflix's customers.
The Netflix Help Page said that they normally process shipments from Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) and that Saturdays are usually slow when it comes to work.
While most will say "It's only one day, how much difference could it make?"
Well, if you're counting the amount of time it takes to ship your previous week's DVD, have them process the return, then ship out a new DVD specifically for your household; it takes a bit longer than we think. Considering Netflix has only five days now to process these shipments and get out new DVDs, it could potentially take a bit longer for customers to receive their weekly movies.
Probably not, but since we live in an age where everything we want is at our fingertips, people may start to get aggravated when their Netflix DVDs don't come in a timely fashion.
Just remember, you can always find entertainment on Youtube. That's a guarantee.
